Prices

So I have the cards and I'm working on a new website.

The whole reason I started to do photography as a more than a hobby was because it shouldn't cost so much to have nice pictures. When Gavin was born I had a local professional do our pics. They turned out ok but he was 3 months old before we got our 11 proofs and dvd. I had wanted to use the pics as a birth announcement...needless to say that did not happen. I paid $100 to wait 3 months on 11 4x5s and a dvd that I couldn't rip the pictures from. There were more pics but i really just refused to pay more than the required $100 minimum.

I have a $25 session fee. That pays me for my time basically..which for you is an hour or 2 generally speaking.

After that I spend some time editing each picture taken. From there I post them to my web gallery where you and whomever you share your password with can view them. ((the password is optional and at no additional cost but not everyone chooses it)) Once you have had time to look over everything you choose what you want to purchase and in what size.

Never will I ever do a walmartish package where you have a million and one of the SAME pose! There is no minimum purchase, you buy what you love, but trust me you will love pretty much all of your images ;)

Individual pictures prices are subject to change but I will say my images are priced about $5 less than area photographers.

Boxes

As much as I Love LoVe LOVE capturing memories in the children my true intent is to create art; to take something "out of the box" and make it look beautiful in a way that isn't always obvious. I just don't want to be that person that can only do one kind of shot.
If you want more than a run of the mill photo shoot, I'm the photographer for you!((lol)) I want to encourage every one in every kind of shot though, to get their mind on art and not a picture. Any one can take a picture, it's point and click. A photographer can only give as much as he/she gets. If you walk in and put on your fake smile, your images are going to reflect that. Be open and willing to take direction from your photographer and have fun! You could even come with ideas and a vision all your own...just don't forget to let those ideas known so we are all on the same page.

What's in YOUR "box"? :)
